The Little Blue Dollhouse is Here!

I picked up Little Blue today! After a whirlwind of a weekend of going to pick her up, miscommunications, trying to coordinate times, feeling like it wasn’t going to work out followed by immediately getting my hopes up - repeat, I finally picked the dollhouse up this afternoon.

My future sister-in-law and I met the sweet little lady at her house. She had the dollhouse in her shed and it took up a significant chunk of it! She said that her husband had made it for her so that she could have a project to work on. But soon after he got sick and she was too busy taking care of him to work on it, and then after he died she just couldn’t bare it. It also came with a little box of miniatures that the had collected together over the years. I promised her I would take very good care of it and that my kids and I would love it very much.

So far I’ve just moved it down to the basement and set up my work station. I will be posting a full dollhouse tour and a mood board tomorrow for paid subscribers!
